Role Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Agricultural Service Technicians to join our dynamic team, with roles available at our sites in Newbury & Winchester.
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery, including tractors, combine harvesters, and other farm equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing of agricultural machinery.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment.
- Conducting repairs efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Providing on-site support to farmers and agricultural businesses.
- Maintaining accurate records of all service and repair work.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in agricultural technology.
- Collaborating with the parts and sales teams to provide technical support and advice.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as an Agricultural Service Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Relevant qualifications in agricultural engineering or a related field are desirable.
