Motus Commercials is an approved DAF Commercial Vehicle dealership located in Wrexham and is on the lookout for a dedicated Apprentice to become a fully qualified DAF Commercial Vehicle Technician. As our new Apprentice, you will join our friendly Team which will see you working 5 days a week 08.00am to 17.00pm in our approved DAF dealership workshop.
Starting date for this role would be July/August
We receive a high volume of Brilliant candidates for our apprenticeships and we thank each and every one of you for taking the time to apply. We are looking to recruit an Apprentice to join the friendly Team to become a Vehicle Technician with us at Motus Commercials DAF in Wrexham.

What Will You Be Doing?
Motus Commercials in Wrexham is an approved DAF Dealership and are hiring a new Apprentice DAF Technician who can learn how to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner through the supervision of a fully qualified Technician.
- To undertake hands on training within the Service Department by working with your nominated mentor.
- To observe and learn how to be able to diagnose a fault
- To learn how to repair basic faults through to more complicated as your knowledge grows
- To learn the dealer standards and undertake servicing and repair work to the standard required
- To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing alongside some of our industry leading Master Technicians
- To attend recognised courses of instruction and achieve the correct pass mark for each course.
- To always work to the best of his/her ability.
- To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
- To assist with general housekeeping duties required within the workshop.

Who Are We Looking for?
We are looking an apprentice to join our friendly Team who can demonstrate:
- A keen interest in motor vehicles and ability to follow instructions (work experience through school placement)
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and confidence
- An analytical and methodical way of thinking - previous interests in engineering, technology and diagnostics
- Being highly motivated with an eye for detail.
- that they are driven by own initiative
- An excellent communicator with the ability to maintain positive relationships.
- Minimum grade C / 5 in English and Maths is preferred.
