Additional Isuzu Grafter for Main Line Timber
Founded in 1991, Main Line Timber has been operating Isuzu vehicles since day one, with its latest addition joining a 7.5-tonne rigid and a number of similar 3.5-tonne Grafters. Selected for its manoeuvrability and compact footprint, the Grafter is mounted with a robust dropside body from PD Stevens and Sons, designed to make the loading and unloading of a wide range of timber products quicker and easier.

Emily Gascoigne, Head of Sales and Marketing for Main Line Timber, says: “We continue to come back to Isuzu as they’re reliable, durable and versatile. We love the Grafter as any of our staff can drive them, they have a great payload and deliveries in tight and inaccessible spots are made safer and more efficient.”

Main Line Timber has been working closely with Midlands-based RH Commercial Vehicles since 2021, after the first of its depots earned dealer status with Isuzu Truck UK the year before. Today, RH Commercial Vehicles represents the Japanese manufacturer from four of its sites.

“We have always received excellent support from Isuzu, but we had to travel a fair distance to our nearest dealer. It was fantastic when RH Commercial came on board, as it meant we had someone locally we could turn to. Their team are always very responsive and have taken the time to understand our business, ensuring we get what we need, when we need it,” adds Gascoigne.

As with all new Isuzu vehicles, Main Line Timber’s latest Grafter has been supplied with the manufacturer’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty including 24/7 roadside assistance, access to Isuzu Truck UK’s dealer network and support from its dedicated Customer CARE team.

Delivering timber products to customers within a 30-mile radius of the company’s Warwick site, this latest 3.5-tonner is expected to stay in operation for up to seven years and will be on the road Monday to Friday, completing two to three delivery routes per day.

A family business, Main Line Timber supplies an extensive range of timber products, including fencing materials, gates, decking, sleepers and arches from its three sites near Daventry, Rugby and Warwick, serving the Midlands and surrounding areas.
