AMK Plant & Tipper Hire Ltd Strengthens Established Fleet with First New Truck Investment, Supported by MV Commercial and MV Asset Finance

The deal was done within three weeks, with the vehicle supplied by MV Commercial and financed through MV Asset Finance, reinforcing the benefits of the inhouse finance company.

AMK operates a large and diverse fleet, predominantly comprising Scania and DAF vehicles, supporting construction and infrastructure projects across the Scotland. While the company has historically invested in high-quality used vehicles, this latest addition represents a strategic step into new vehicle procurement, underlining AMK’s continued growth and confidence in its future operations.

The 32-tonne DAF XD450 Construction tipper has been specified with a Traxon automatic transmission and sleeper cab for night out work, delivering robust on-site capability alongside improved driver comfort and efficiency.
