Exeros Technologies Partners with RAC to Supply AI Powered Smart Cameras

28 February 20232 min read
RAC Connected is taking their service to the next level for business fleets with the help of market-leading smart camera systems provider Exeros Technologies Ltd. This partnership offers customers a number of advanced camera systems designed to protect drivers and vehicles - from cameras capturing both the front and rear view of the vehicle to live-streaming, AI-powered driver monitoring, and full security CCTV systems.

For an added layer of preventative protection, advanced driver assistance systems are available to scan the road ahead for vehicles, pedestrians, and other road users and alert the driver if they start straying from their lane. RAC Connected Platform's integrated camera system records any events that occur - like hard braking or a collision - allowing fleet managers to review the footage without having to go through hours of footage.

In addition, the unique in-cab driver fatigue system utilizes a camera to monitor the driver's face for signs of fatigue and distraction, such as yawning, closing eyes, using a handheld device, etc. An audible warning is sent out if any concerning activity is detected, preventing possible accidents.

By combining dashcam footage, in-cab monitoring of the driver’s actions, and telematics data, the RAC Connected platform gives fleet managers an unprecedented understanding of any occurrences.
