- Mac’s Truck Sales Group has acquired FASSI specialist Walker Crane Services to boost aftersales support and establish a strategic southern base.
- Walker Crane Services will continue to trade as normal, integrating its FASSI servicing with Mac’s builds, rental and engineering expertise.
- The strategic partnership will deliver an end-to-end fleet solution, combining bespoke truck builds with lifetime crane maintenance.
Walker Crane Services will continue to trade as normal, with no changes to staff and zero disruption to existing clients, though the new partnership will provide operators in the south of England with direct, convenient access to both Mac’s Truck Sales’ popular bespoke builds and Mac’s Truck Rental’s short- and long-term hire offering. Integration of Walker Crane Services’ renowned FASSI servicing, parts, and training expertise will also enhance the after-sales network available to Mac’s customers.

Walker Crane Services brings decades of specialist experience in the testing, repair, and servicing of lorry loaders, backed by a highly skilled team of mobile and depot-based engineers. Operating in tandem with Mac’s Truck Sales’ modern Huddersfield headquarters, the unified businesses will offer a comprehensive end-to-end solution for fleets, combining bespoke truck builds with lifetime crane maintenance.
The move will also establish the Walker Crane Services site in Grays, Essex, as a strategic Southern depot for Mac’s Truck Rental, providing local operators with convenient access to the company’s fleet of high-spec commercial vehicles, available on both flexible spot-hire and long-term rental packages.
The newly unified teams will now work even more closely with FASSI UK, continuing to nurture and grow relationships with the wider FASSI dealer network and local suppliers to drive the business forward.
