Markus Siegner has more than 25 years of international management experience in the industry - with proven expertise in operations, global production networks, supply chain management, procurement and post-merger integration. Most recently, as COO of AL-KO Vehicle Technology, he was responsible for global operations with four business units, more than 25 production sites and over 3,000 employees. Under his leadership, the company implemented comprehensive transformation and efficiency programs, including significant productivity and material cost reductions, site optimizations and the operational integration of several acquisitions.
Previously, Markus Siegner held various senior management positions at OSRAM over many years, including COO of a global business unit, VP for Manufacturing & Procurement and other management roles in Europe and Asia. He managed international production and supply networks, achieved significant cost reductions and efficiency gains, established new sites and drove strategic footprint optimizations and digital transformation programs.

In his new role, Markus Siegner plans to consistently pursue the strategic direction of Kögel Trailer GmbH. The focus will be on innovation, sustainable growth, digitalization and the expansion of market presence. This includes programs to increase productivity, the expansion of customer benefits through digital and electronic solutions and the strengthening of sustainable business practices in the interests of the environment, customers and employees.
