As a world first, KRONE and Trailer Dynamics are presenting an eTrailer with Battery Swapping Technology. This involves decoupling the entire battery unit and replacing it with a fully charged unit. In collaboration with partner CATL, this innovative and promising alternative to conventional charging infrastructure for heavy commercial vehicles is being further developed and advanced.
To optimize fleet management and enhance the efficiency of eTrailer deployment, Trailer Dynamics is unveiling a web-based digital simulation and documentation tool at IAA Transportation. This tool can be tailored to individual logistical requirements and provides crucial consumption and energy data. To assess the potential of eTrailer technology, the routes of existing fleets are thoroughly analyzed using this technology. Additionally, a certified CO2 footprint document is created for each specific use case. Fleet operators can thus not only sustainably reduce their emissions and costs but also minimize the effort required for fleet management and CO2 documentation.
