What’s new?
With the acquisition of extra land, we’ve added 62 new lorry parking bays to the existing 89 —a major upgrade for drivers seeking a safe and comfortable place to rest. For the first time ever, we’ll also be offering advanced booking, so you can reserve your spot and arrive with peace of mind. Plus, we’ve introduced 10 electric hook-ups for fridge units so drivers with chilled/frozen loads can ensure they are kept at the right temperature all night without running noisy diesel engines.
Boosted security
At Chippenham Pit Stop, security is a top priority. We’re already proud holders of the Park Mark Freight Award for a high level of lorry parking security, and with this expansion, we’re upgrading all of our site CCTV and additionally installing ANPR controlled barriers on the new area so we can reserve parking.
Pit Stop Perks
Our new App is available from the App Store and Google Play. Use it to collect loyalty points on fuel and purchases in the service building including cafe, shop and direct parking (but not SNAP, Travis and other third party accounts) for discounts on future purchases. You can also use it to simply order food to your table or even to collect later on.
Caring for the environment
As part of this project, we’ve dedicated a section of our new land to a beautiful wildflower meadow. This initiative supports local wildlife and insects, reflecting our commitment to growing not just bigger, but greener too.
