Compass Deliver throughout Bristol, South Wales, the Southeast, The Midlands, and Lincolnshire and have held a strong relationship with RH Commercial Vehicles.

After continued success in the Midlands region and having experienced reliable service from RHCV, they purchased a Renault Trucks D26 Wide 6X2 rigid truck with a tanker body.

Stuart Morgan, Managing Director said; “The trucks look smart and perform well. Their manoeuvrability is impressive – which is an important factor as they are required to get into tight spots.

“We have been impressed with the service from RHCV in the past. The R&M package and quality of service has been fantastic. With the recent acquisition of Coventry and the location of Leicester, they are even more convenient for us. This was another key factor for opting for the Renault.”

Despite its robust capabilities, the D Wide has a compact chassis making it able to navigate built-up urban environments. This makes it perfect for congested city areas such as the domestic locations Compass Energy serve.

It is also fitted with a tight turning radius and precise steering, making sharp turns and confined areas easy to access.

The cab also provides impressive visibility with well-placed mirrors and an external sun-visor fitted as an optional extra. A passenger-side vision door with a lower clear window has also been fitted as an operational extra to further increase visibility and limit blind spots.

A fuel tank from Cobo Tankers has been fitted with a capacity of 20,000 litres. Fitted in Spain, it features specialised equipment for the carriage of petrol and hazardous goods. A reversing warning buzzer has been fitted to alert other road users and pedestrians.

The truck comes with a seven-year full R&M package which provides full cover including regular maintenance checks, breakdown and parts warranty cover.

Overall, the service provided to Compass was seamless and they look forward to strengthening their relationship with RHCV for years to come.
