The modular conveyor system addresses a common issue in the industry by allowing the conveyor belt to be replaced in under four hours. Unlike traditional systems, the G2’s conveyor slides out from the back of the mixer and is secured with just eight bolts, streamlining the process.
“Changing conveyor belts has always been time-consuming and frustrating,” said an Utranazz spokesperson. “With the G2, we’ve made it quick and simple, minimising downtime for operators.”
The Holcombe G2 is also equipped with Intellicrete Technology, which ensures precise dosing of admixtures by synchronising them with the production rate. Additionally, the Insightflow Cement Feed system adjusts cement speed and keeps sand and stone gates at the optimal setting to prevent clogging.
Another standout feature is the G2 Water Smart Moisture Control System, which maintains consistent slump between pours. It uses dynamic calibration flow control and an electronic proportional water valve to manage water flow. Operators can make precise adjustments with a rotary dial, and the system remembers the last setting.
The mixer’s design prioritises user-friendliness, with a 7-inch (17.8cm) colour touchscreen for mix programming and joystick-operated auger and chute controls. A safety platform provides secure access to the cement hopper.
Starting in January 2025, Utranazz will offer live demonstrations of the Holcombe G2. Prospective customers can use the mixer on their own sites to test its capabilities.
