About this event
"As a traditional agricultural show we hold competitions for a range of animals including cattle, sheep, light horses, heavy horses and shetlands, poultry & eggs, pygmy goats, rabbits and dogs. We also hold showjumping classes. With hundreds of classes, take a look at our schedules on the entry forms page for more information on classes, entries, judges and prizes.
Our main arena is the focal point of the show, holding attractions to suit all the family all day long. Displays at our 2023 show included The Lamb National, sheepdog & duck displays and birds of prey flying displays. Not forgetting our popular children's games for the young ones to get involved in. The ridden classes of our heavy horse section are also held in the main arena.
As well as all the animals on display, there's so much to see and do around the showground. We have a number of trade and craft stands showcasing the best in agricultural, countryside and local produce. Check out the classic and vintage vehicles on display or enjoy the funfair.
