About the role
Job DescriptionThe main purpose of the role is to drive our long wheel based Ford Iveco and Volkswagen Crafter vans to and from our St. Albans base to event venues, event suppliers and corporate clients mainly in Central London and within the M25, but occasionally outside of this zone.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:· To ensure the required equipment is driven to and from clients, venues and suppliers in an efficient, timely and safe manner.· Help with loading and unloading of the van, as required, ensuring all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.· To be able to interact with clients, suppliers and freelancers in a professional manner.· To work as part of a team especially in regards with other drivers and Office Coordinator in order to ensure all jobs are fulfilled.· To ensure the van is kept in an acceptable state and to carry out basic maintenance checks.· To be able to navigate own routes to and from clients, venues and supplier’s premises (sat navs are provided).· To assist in other areas of the business if not out driving, including in the warehouse.· To undertake any additional ad-hoc tasks as required.Necessary SkillsA full manual driving licence with less than 7 points.Delivery experience / practical knowledge of driving in LondonMethodical and meticulousAble to move loads of 25kg in a safe mannerTeam Player with a flexible approachFirst Aider (training will be provided if necessary)Customer focusJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £22,500.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionGym membershipSchedule:OvertimeAbility to commute/relocate:St Albans: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
