About the role
A commercial Vehicle depot manager is required to manage a main dealership commercial vehicle depot, complete with service, parts and workshop departments. The role will include managing all the departments and to maximise the profitability of both parts and service departments, including continual improvements in utilisation of staff and efficiency of organisation.ROLE: Depot Manager - Commercial VehiclesLOCATION: HayesBASIC SALARY: £50k to £60kBONUS: 10% of basic salaryROLE:BudgetingMaintain compliance in all areas of Health and Safety in the workplaceSelection and recruitment of staff in all departments (In conjunction with GM)Contribute to the development of all operating and administrative systems to ensure that quality, efficient and timely work is carried outRemain up to date with all relevant legal requirementsAchieve and strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreementsIdentify and implement a training plan for all depot staffEnsure premises are maintained to a high standard, in line with Iveco Dealer Operating standardsEnsure premises security measures are adequate at all timesActively seek new business in conjunction with GM/GSMEnsure all invoice related queries are dealt with in a timely mannerMonitor Warranty/Contract ledgerActively participate in all measured campaigns and competitionsEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Must have experience of managing a commercial vehicle depot, main dealer, with a parts department, workshop etc.Main Dealer workshop experienceLeadership skills/experienceKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesCurrent driving licenceAbility to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlinesAbility to work under pressureAbility to actively seek solutions to problemsAbility to work as part of a teamGood leadership skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsFlexibility to undertake a wide range of tasksAwareness and understanding of health and safety requirementsComputer literateJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceSick paySchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeYearly bonusWork Location: In person
