About the role
Applications are invited for the post of eTruck Sales Consultant for Mertrux.This is a full-time position and will be based at our Derby Head Office - the position reports to the Truck Sales Manager.The role is to support our customers in the transition to Electric Mercedes-Benz and Fuso Trucks, including electric charging solutions.Mercedes Benz has a full range of fully electric trucks available now, this is an exciting and challenging role and will be pivotal in supporting our customers in the transition to electric trucks.· Relevant degree or equivalent experience· Exemplary knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry - Preferred.· Heavy Goods Vehicle licence holder (C+E) advantageous but not essential· Sales process experience in the heavy vehicle industry – preferred but not essential· Excellent numeracy and communication skills· Genuine demonstrable interest in electric vehicles.· Ability to identify, exploit and explain product strengths in a market environment.· Strong customer orientation with a high collaborative approach.· Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the business.· Proven presentation skills with ability to present in public.· Ability to think at a strategic and tactical level.· Highly effective team playerWe can offer you an excellent salary package, plus company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, pension, and life assurance.Interested applicants should apply in writing to the Human Resources Department - hr@mertrux.co.ukJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Company pensionEmployee discountFree parkingLife insuranceOn-site parkingReferral programmeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeCommission payWork Location: In person Mertrux is the leading Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Commercial Vehicle Dealer in the East Midlands.
