About the role

We are currently operating over 115 Iveco vehicles and more than 400 trailers. As a walking floor driver, your work will predominantly be locally based however at times your work could include trunking trailers to our Leicester and Birmingham depots and then delivering to our customers on the way back down. Alternatively, you will deliver to our customers going up the country, drop in to either of our depots and then return to the yard with another loaded trailer. We have a big presence at both Sheerness and Purfleet docks. We have a handful self-tips and only a few multi drop deliveries.As a 24-hour operation, we offer both day and night shifts with a competitive rate of pay and bonus scheme. Overtime will be paid at £16 per hour. Our work is predominantly Monday to Friday however overtime options are available on request for Saturdays and Sundays.Nicholls Transport has been a family run business for over 50 years, and we pride ourselves on our delivery service to our customers.
