Our culture promotes training and development to help individuals reach their career goals, positive working relationships between staff and managers where ideas are valued.SALARY PACKAGE£23 per hour - £47,840 per annum plus bonus & overtime (OTE: Up to £60,000)Monday to Friday - 22:00pm until 6:30amFrom day 1, you will have access to our company benefit package including:§ In-house training§ Workwear overalls provided§ 22 days holiday allowance + public holidays which increases with length of service§ Enrolment pension scheme through salary sacrifice to ensure you get the most out of your hard-earned money§ Vehicle purchase discount, our sister Company Pentagon Motor Group provide colleague and family discount§ Employee Assistance Programme§ Colleague Introduction Award – recommend somebody for a role and you could earn extra £££ once they’re fully on-board with us§ Onsite Mental Health First Aiders§ Discounts on major retail outlets including groceries§ 2x basic salary life insurance§ Career development opportunities, along with training plans managed through our inhouse technical training teamMain Responsibilities:As a HGV Technician you will be based in a busy workshop environment you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major overhauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnosticsServicing of vehicles to a high standardWorking on electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to use diagnostic equipmentCarry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications requiredComplete job cards clearly and accuratelyYou must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completionRepairing and replacing partsChecking vehicle subsystemsSupporting other Technicians in the WorkshopThe Ideal Candidate:A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Repair) with a proven track record in vehicle repair and servicingThe ability to follow instructions and proceduresA full UK driving licenceThe capability of working to the highest quality standards and a great team player and communication skillsThe knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment and maintain high standards of housekeepingIt would be an advantage if you have:· Mercedes-Benz product experience· HGV LicenceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £23.00 per hourBenefits:Company pensionReferral programmeSchedule:Monday to FridayNight shiftOvertimeSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeCommission payWork Location: In person
