About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant and/or Truck Technician to join our Award-Winning franchise dealershipMultevo is the leading dealer in multi-purpose plant machinery in the UK ( for manufacturers such as Mercedes-benz Unimog and Multihog), receiving various industry recognized awards. With our parts and service department expanding we require new technicians to help drive the business forward.About your Plant and/or truck Technician role:Inspection of new and used equipment on site and in our depotCarrying out routine service on equipment and plant at various locationsElectrical, Hydraulic Diagnostics and breakdown RepairComplete job cards including machine detail, time and mileage and any accompanying documentation such as PDI sheets, delivery forms and photo’s as necessaryOn site diagnostics of trucks and equipmentWhat you’ll need to succeed:Recent and relevant experience in a similar role i.e Agricultural Engineer, Plant EngineerGood diagnostic skills and be able to work on your own initiativeA keen eye & ability to operate diagnostic softwareNVQ or equivalent qualificationAdditional skills that would be advantageousPrevious Mercedes-benz experiencePrevious Experience with multi-purpose plantKnowledge of hydrostatic drive systemsknowledge of arboricultural equipmentWhat you’ll get in return:Company Vehicle for work and personal use Inc FuelFull product and continuous Training programsExcellent package including a competitive salary and overtime availabilityService Van, Fuel Card, I PadCompetitive Package with on earnings between £38,000 - £40,000 plus overtimeGenuine Career Progression whilst working for a highly successful Plant Dealer.Paid expenses programJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany eventsCompany pensionFree or subsidised travelFree parkingSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeLoyalty bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Darwen, BB3 1BF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:post qualification workshop: 2 years (preferred)Heavy Goods Vehicles & Construction Plant Mechanics: 3 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Willingness to travel:50% (preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Darwen, BB3 1BF
