Location: Aberdeen, GB, AB12 4PFPosition Type: ProfessionalDo you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry? As part of our team at Volvo you will work a 39 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate of up to £20 per hour with overtime, quarterly bonus and fantastic earning potential Would our working hours help your work-life balance? We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Aberdeen dayshift where hours are Monday – Thursday 7.30 am to 4pm with an early finish on a Friday.What you will doThe Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsiblyAssist in the fault diagnosis processService Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)Assist with roadside breakdowns.Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accuratelyEnsure all vehicle defects are reportedKeep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintainedHelp us in supporting the development of trainees and apprenticesWhat’s in it for you?Alongside your salary we can also offer you some fantastic employee benefits.
