Job descriptionOur busy Workshop team is currently looking for a HGV (LGV) Technician with various levels of experience to join their workshop in Easton. The ideal candidate must have experience in the servicing and maintenance of a variety of Heavy Goods vehicles such as Iveco, Volvo, DAF & Various Trailers.Show more...Maintenance and servicing of a fleet of HGV’s.MOT preparation on vehiclesInspection of fleet every 8 weeks to ensure consistent smooth running and minimise downtime.To follow correct Health and Safety procedures at all timesTo ensure vehicle breakdowns and repairs are dealt with in line with company proceduresTo ensure appropriate paperwork is completedKEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCEPossess sound knowledge of all HGV mechanical functionsAbility diagnose problems effectivelyWork to MOT standards at all times Experience in the servicing of HGV’sExperience in maintaining vehicles including PMI inspectionsMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar roleHGV Class 1 License (C+E) desirable but not essential.City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferredMonday to Friday Shifts with some Saturday Mornings (No Shift Work)Get in touchPlease email:- info@williams-transport.co.uk or Call:-01480 891494 and speak to Darrel
