HGV Technician - Glasgow WestLocation: Glasgow, GB, G51 4GAPosition Type: ProfessionalDo you want to work 3.5 days per week? Would our fantastic shift pattern help your work-life balance? As part of our team at Volvo you will work a 40.5 hour per week, up to £20 per hour with overtime and quarterly bonus and fantastic earning potential Shift Pattern on rotational basisWeek 1 Monday - Wednesday 0700 - 1900 | Thursday 0700 - 1300Week 2 Wednesday - Friday 0700 - 1900 | Saturday 0700-1300 Who are you?Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?What will you be doingThe Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsiblyAssist in the fault diagnosis processService Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)Assist with roadside breakdowns.Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accuratelyEnsure all vehicle defects are reportedKeep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintainedHelp us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices What can we offer youAlongside your salary we can also offer you some fantastic employee benefits.
