Job Description
- One day per week, days/hours to be discussed at interview
- Salary – £16.75 per hour

- Minimum 5 years automotive experience
- 2 years Assessing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised & competent record keeper
- Assessors should have a good working knowledge of the Vehicle Inspection techniques and the current DVSA Inspection manual
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Register candidates with the Institute of Motor Industry
- Administration to request certification of the candidate
- Liaise with candidates to ensure they are fully informed of the inspection process, ensuring support is provided to make them comfortable and at ease
- Provide feedback as required to candidates
- Assessors must ensure that their technical knowledge is kept up to date to the level they wish to assess through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
