Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van (NI) Mallusk are currently recruiting for the following position:LOGISTICS DRIVER/YARD OPERATIVE - (HGV Class 1 required)We require a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Logistics team, you will play a vital role within the business.Contract Type - Full-Time PermanentHours of work39 hours per week; Monday – Thursday 8:30–16:45 and Friday 08:30 – 17:0040 hours per week; 1-week in 4 rotate carrying out yard duties Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:3007:00 – 12:30 Saturday overtime, on a rotational basisMain dutiesThis role involves the movement of a variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles throughout our customer base in Northern Ireland.Presenting vehicles for MOT to the local test centresOrganising the company yard in an orderly and safe fashion complying with Health & Safety regulationsAssist Workshop Controller and Service Team to organise workflow and minimise downtimeManaging incoming traffic to avoid congestion within the dealership yardTo carry out daily safety checks in line with vehicle maintenance and legislationEssential CriteriaA valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C + E)Confident driver with experience of driving a wide variety of commercial vehiclesGood geographical knowledge of NIA strong customer service focus with the ability to be an ambassador for the Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van products and servicesAn excellent standard of presentation with a courteous and pleasant naturePlease submit your CV to Gillian McCrudden - gillianmccrudden@m-btruckandvan.co.ukwww.mbtvni.comJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £13.11 per hourExpected hours: 39 – 40 per weekWork Location: In personBenefits:Additional leaveBereavement leaveCanteenDiscounted or free foodFree parkingOn-site parking
