About the role
Job Description:Location: DartfordSalary: £31,590 - £35,100 per annum depending on experienceHours: 45 hours per weekMonday to Friday 8am to 6pmAlternating Saturdays 8am to 12pmWe are seeking a dedicated and organised Parts Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing parts inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for automotive or maintenance-related industries. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base.Responsibilities and Duties:Assist both customers and Technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts efficientlyMaintain accurate records of parts inventory using Microsoft Excel and other organisational toolsProcess incoming and outgoing parts orders, ensuring timely delivery and stock accuracyProvide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers and suppliersSupport maintenance activities by organising parts for repairs and servicingKeep the parts department clean, organised, and well-stockedLiaise with other departments to coordinate parts availability and delivery schedulesOffer advice on maintenance procedures related to parts when requiredLiaising with the workshop to ensure the correct parts are availableBuilding relationships and delivering a first-class service to our customersWhat we are looking for:Technical knowledge of Vans/TrucksExperience of delivering customer service to a high standardExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood organisation skills with the ability to work under pressureGood IT skills, experience of working with Parts systems would be an advantage.Knowledge of dealer systems such as ADP Autoline (Kerridge/Keyloop) would be an advantage.Previous parts department experience, ideally with a main dealerOur Company Benefits:When you join us you'll have access to a comprehensive benefits package including:Performance-based bonus scheme24 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays on topCompany pension (Royal London) via a salary sacrifice scheme£20,000 death in service benefitFree staff parkingAccess to onsite gymAccess to free, independent advice on finance, health, and wellbeingCompany Healthcare Cashback Scheme, with a wellbeing programme via Simply HealthAccess to Hastee, a scheme that enables you to access a portion of your earned pay when you need it, on-demand.This is an exciting time to join SAGA Truck and Van if you feel like you are ready for the challenge, hit apply today!
