About the role
Regional Head Of ServiceWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Service to oversee and lead service operations across a designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and managing a team of service leaders. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing service operations on a regional scale.To be considered you will possess the experience and knowledge of working in the HGV / Commercial vehicle or Automotive market, to join a growing group who form part of one of the most successful HGV dealer groups in the UK.Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesOperationally responsible for the entire Service function across the business and taking it to full working efficiency.Setting, communicating, and driving the department vision.Leading from the front, hands on and nurturing a positive and open culture across your team.Extensive Workshop control / loading & management experience.Adhere to all dealership and company standards, including quality and environmental policies.Facilitate staff training to maintain high standards of customer service.Develop and sustain positive relationships with customers, ensuring timely service delivery.Achieve and maintain dealership standards and KPIs, strengthening partnerships.Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Build a strong, positive team culture in line with company values.Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special RequirementsA vast knowledge and experience of the commercial vehicle or automotive sector.We're looking to speak with positive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individuals with prior experience of working within the commercial truck market, specifically either DAF, Mercedes, Scania, or Volvo.High standards of professionalism, courtesy, and respect towards customers.Solution-oriented.Looking for future progression opportunities within a growing group.Hours of Work:Monday to Friday.
