About the role

Head of Sales Administration – eStar Truck and Van Mercedes-BenzAn exciting opportunity has been created at eStar Truck and Van for a Head of Sales Administration who will be responsible for providing the planning, reporting, and progressing of all vehicles sold by the business.The RoleReporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for a team of 4 direct reports (2 at Knowsley, 1 at Stoke and the other at Manchester) and will work alongside the sales managers and the finance team, encompassing New and Used Trucks and New and Used Vans. You will help to create the operative plan for the sales function, support the revision of monthly stock/order take plans increasing or reducing demand where necessary, lead the sales administration team ensuring vehicle sales are progressed from order to delivery both accurately and timely. You will also be responsible for managing vehicle stocks to minimise aged stock and reduce stocking charges, liaising with the finance team to ensure operational and financial reporting is consistently aligned. You will also be responsible for providing weekly and monthly reporting through automation and the use of central dashboards.The highest levels of honesty and integrity are non-negotiable. About you A strong customer focus is an absolute must, with the ability to set and work to priorities you identify. You will have automotive experience and have worked in a similar role previously. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate at all levels with customers, from Directors and Owners through to Management and Drivers alike, with the natural ability to develop relationships effortlessly. You will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an understanding of Microsoft Office suite. You will have great presentation skills and be able to work without supervision.
