About the role

Warehouse OperatorYASA is searching for a Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. As the backbone of our warehouse, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the seamless journey of our materials—from the moment they arrive to when they're distributed throughout the business. You'll be responsible for the safe receipt, secure storage, and timely dispatch of all goods and products, directly supporting the Logistics Operations Manager.What You'll Do:Line Side Fulfilment of material parts production activityStock control of finished goods, consumables and materialsPacking and preparing delivery of goods to customersProviding components from stock for all departmentsEnsure that inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciledLiaise with other departments to ensure that all orders are tracked and updated with estimated delivery timesStock Counting experience (added)Maintain the stores in a neat and tidy fashionUpdating our ERP system of stock received against purchase ordersCompliance with all company policies, in particular our quality, health and safety and environmental policiesAny other duties as required.To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need:Previous proven experience working within a mechanical / electrical production assembly environmentFamiliar with using MS Excel, MS Outlook and preferably a stock management system.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with teamsResults-orientated and good attention to detailGood understanding and appreciation for health and safety to ensure a safe working environment for you, your colleagues and visitors at all timesA strong team player, self-motivated with a can-do attitude.A curious approach consistently exploring opportunities to learn.To be delivery focussed, seeking feedback on one’s own performance and outputs.A supportive attitude demonstrating patience and a willingness to help those around you.A flexible approach to work.Forklift truck licenseThough not expected, it would be very beneficial if you have:Experience of using Microsoft Navigation Dynamics ERP systemOur mission is to lead the design and delivery of the best electric motor technology available.
